Our non-profit organization

Kaurisniemi Animal Sanctuary is a non-profit organization founded in 2016 by our family to help animals at risk of being put to sleep.

In recent years, our focus has also been on sharing knowledge about animal-friendly training and care.

In the summer of 2024, we launched a Patreon page for our sanctuary, where we share the training journeys of our residents with our supporters. This work is done fully on a voluntary basis.

Kaurisniemi is still small, but it is growing steadily – carried forward by compassion, education, and the belief that farm animals deserve the same respect as any other animals.
